![]() This is a great facility and helps people with young children have a ride by allowing one person to ride while the other looks after the Child in an air conditioned room. Why not make use of the child swap facility and both ride. ![]() ![]() This is the best part of the ride and on a good day (wind coming back into the ride) you can cool off and get wet! This is also a great spot to stand for all non-riders as they can generally take some very good photos. The ride takes you through many turns and right at the end you go through one final banked turn into a waterfall only inches from the water. I am not normally happy when rides throw me around, however felt totally comfortable riding this. Whoever made it really wanted people to enjoy the experience without feeling sick or disorientated. The speed really hits you at this point and just how smooth the ride actually is. Once you are rotated you then make your way up to 140 feet before making your first big loop. At this point most of the money that was sat in your pocket makes its way to the floor! It really is not for the faint hearted rider! The design of each car is like you are sat in a large Ray, but just before you are about to move the floor moves away and you are then moved through 90 degrees facing down to the floor. The ride itself can reach in excess of 60mph and has 4 inversions, not to mention numerous high speed spins and loops. Wanting to design something different the ride is based on a flying Manta Ray that faces the riders horizontal unlike the conventional rollercoasters. ![]() MAMTA first opened in 2009 at Seaworld, Orlando to accompany KRACKEN as their flagship rollercoaster. ![]()
